Two people were injured in a stabbing near a coffee shop in Eindhoven on Sunday afternoon.
The incident happened on Karel de Grotelaan near the coffee shop Indian Dylan in the Gestel district. It is not clear what exactly happened, but according to one witness the two were stabbed by another. The perpetrator is said to have stabbed violently around him. Allegedly, there was a fight before the stabbing.
One of the two victims was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. The perpetrator of the stabbing was also injured. He was transferred from the police station to the hospital.
The security guard at the coffee shop kept the perpetrator under control until the police came to arrest him. The police are investigating further and are calling on witnesses to report.
