The police warns via Facebook that since the last few weeks more and more bicycles have been stolen in Eindhoven.
They also want to give some tips to reduce the chance of theft. For example, a ring lock alone is not enough to stop a bicycle thief. The police therefore recommends anchoring the bicycle to a fixed object with a chain lock and preferably placing it in an illuminated place.
Finally, the police call on everyone to call 112 when they see bicycle theft.
