Cycling festival at HTC

This weekend, the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven was the setting for cycling races, tours, and innovative side events.

The High Tech Crit Festival is a two-day cycling festival with a cycling race, youth programme, tour, and all kinds of side events in the field of innovation. It is an initiative of the Campus Health & Sports Club.

Different activities took place all day long on Sundays. For example, the High Tech Crit Tour for adults started at 8:00 and the youth competitions started at 9:30. The cyclists arrived at the finish line at around 15:00.

There were also various activities for visitors throughout the day. There was an air cushion and pump track for children, an open-air bicycle fair with new developments in the cycling field. Visitors were given the opportunity to test new innovative bicycles too.

Top international cyclists in Eindhoven

The ZLM Tour took place from Wednesday, 19 June to Sunday, 23 June. Many world tour teams, including in particular the sprinter teams, use the ZLM Tour as preparation for the Tour de France. The last leg of the ZLM Tour started on Sunday at 11:30 at the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven and finished in Piusstraat in Tilburg.
