Valkenswaard aldeperson Bram Bots is in the race for the title of ‘Best Administrator 2023’ on behalf of the province of North Brabant. This election is organised annually by Binnenlands Bestuur and bureau Necker.

Local and regional politicians, administrators, municipal secretaries and registrars made a selection of administrators in recent weeks. Who did they think excelled in the past year? And why? Bots received the most nominations from the province of North Brabant.

According to the voters, the Valkenswaard alderperson has ‘an eye for residents and colleagues’. He is characterised as ‘committed and knowledgeable’. Voters praise his commitment to quickly master substantive issues. His honesty is also appreciated; he approaches the council openly.

From the selection text: ‘Alderman Bots takes up every challenge, no matter how difficult it may seem. In one and a half years, new visions on housing, mobility and parking have come about under his portfolios’.

Everyone can help decide which of the nominees will become the Best Director 2023. The nominations from the first round are now known. There are 13 nominations: the best director of each province (12) and the best director of the water boards (1).
