Statues of PSV icons, Coen Dillen and Willy van der Kuijlen, were given Christmas sweaters this morning.
PSV’s sponsor, energiedirect.nl, makes Christmas sweaters for the football club every year. The statues have the honour of being given the first sweaters this year.
The sweaters are in high demand every year. Last year, security officers advised energiedirect.nl to close the distribution centres for the Christmas sweaters, as fans’ safety could not be guaranteed. The sweaters can therefore only be purchased via an online lottery this year.
