On Friday, police dogs shot at high speed across the field of the FC Eindhoven stadium on the Aalsterweg. It was a spectacular show at the National Championship for the Royal Dutch Police Dog Association.
“Here come the top dogs of the Netherlands,” says a spokesperson from the organization. Many of the spectators came because they are active within the police force themselves. And others came because they like to watch how often these herders literally bite their owners. The handlers wore special, thick suits to protect themselves against the bites.
