PSV supporters were asked what they think of a collaboration with a gambling company.
The club focuses on a sponsorship contract with websites where you can bet on football matches. Such a collaboration is not that special in the world of football, but it has only recently become legal in the Netherlands.
In the survey, fans with a season ticket are asked if they like it when PSV binds itself to a gambling company. Supporters can also indicate which companies they have already heard of.
The supporters’ association of PSV has said in the Eindhovens Dagblad that they do not immediately welcome this idea. It is a gray area. On the one hand, it brings in the money, but it is not desirable that supporters will soon all receive emails from gambling sites, says the supporters club.
