Thanks to a grant of €100,000.00 by the Dutch government a big sports conference is coming to Eindhoven. ‘Play The Game’ will visit the Netherlands for the first time coming November. European delegates from politics, sports and science will meet for five days in the city.
At the conference there will be discussions about the pursuit of transparency, democracy and freedom of speech in the sports world. According to Secretary of Sports Edith Schippers these goals are in line with Dutch sports policies.
Mayor Jorritsma of Eindhoven is also glad Play The Game is coming to Eindhoven. He emphasises that he is eager to show that innovation and cooperation can reinforce the sports community.
Eindhoven is chosen primarily for its good environment for sports companies. The presence of many top and amateur sports in which technology, design and know-how are integrated is inspiring according to Play The Game director Jens Sejer Andersen.
The conference will take place from 26 until 30 November 2017 at Van der Valk Hotel in Eindhoven.
