The High Tech Campus in Eindhoven is booming. The hotspot for innovative high-tech companies just keep growing. Two new companies will be added in the coming month, bringing the total to 150 companies.
More and more companies are anxious to get established on the campus. Big things are planned for this year. A total of 25,000 square metres will be issued for the arrival of new companies, such as the Smart Industries Hub, where large tech companies will be opening a hall and offices this year. A place where new innovations are not only thought up, but also tested.
In addition, the Japanese company Shimano will be opening up next week, with 200 employees. That is a company which makes innovative bike parts and fishing rods, among other things. And next month, the French-American concern Chassis Brakes, a company which develops car braking systems, will open up on the campus.
Fifteen innovative start-ups also moved into a former Philips building in no time. This way,the starting companies get a chance to develop.
There are now more than 10,500 people working at the campus.
