Second Chamber discusses overworked care givers Brabant

Tomorrow, during the weekly question time, Madeleine van Toorenburg (CDA), Member of the Second Chamber, is to ask questions in parliament about the problems of tens of thousands of overworked care givers in the Brabant region

Ms Van Toorenburg has indicated that she intends to address the matter again with parliament. Care organisations ZuidZorg and GGzE reported last week that there are tens of thousands of overworked care givers in the Brabant region.
Budget cuts in care have put added pressure on care givers, leading to extra strain.

Care givers have psychological problems varying from exhaustion to listlessness and depression.
