Oud-Woensel to be redeveloped

The last part of the redevelopment of Vredesplein and surroundings areas in Oud-Woensel can begin soon.

The Thuis corporation and Stam and De Koning construction company, among others, have signed the papers for 77 homes in the Eindhoven neighbourhood.

The houses will be demolished in five phases, and new homes will be constructed in their place. The planned free-sector rental homes that Stam and De Koning will be building will be located in the heart of the neighbourhood. This means there must be more variation in the types of houses – a mix of affordable and more expensive rental and owner-occupied homes.

Everything must be done by the beginning of 2022. In total, there will be around 400 new homes and apartments.
