Since 2012, PSV is active with women’s football. It is now extremely popular, partly thanks to the success of the Oranje Leeuwinnen (Orange Lionesses).
‘Women’s football has received an enormous boost in recent years, partly due to the great achievements of the national team. We notice that PSV Women has a specific target group, and want to keep this target group informed about their heroines as well and as focused as possible, “says Hanneke Jaanen, Coordinator for Media at PSV.
PSV Women starts Friday with the second half of the season in the Eredivisie Vrouwen. The competition will resume with a home game against ADO Den Haag at sports complex De Herdgang. The game starts at 19.30.
