The Den Bosch Court sentenced the suspects of the Vestdijk assault to a shorter prison sentence than demanded.
The Flemish prime suspect Brent L. was sentenced to ten months in juvenile detention, four of which are conditional. Brett S. was sentenced to two months in prison. Two and one year had been demanded respectively. The Dutch suspect Tom was sentenced to six months in juvenile detention, three of which are conditional.While considering the verdict, the judge took into account the commotion created by the images published on the Internet, the suspects showing signs of remorse and their young age.
