Paralympian Goeken honoured

Paralympic champion Kathrin Goeken from Eindhoven received a royal honour in The Hague Tuesday afternoon.

In London, Goeken won the gold medal in the women’s individual time trial cycling and bronze in the women’s individual road race.The cyclist has a visual impairment. Therefore, she competes on a tandem with pilot Kim van Dijk, who also was honoured.
