A gardener was seriously injured in an accident on the premises of the TU/e. A trauma helicopter was called but the man was eventually taken to hospital by ambulance.
The accident occurred around 11:25 in the green area between the auditorium and the Dommel. The man was working on a tree when he fell from a ladder. It is unclear exactly what caused him to fall.
The gardener is an employee of the company De Enk from Renkum. The cause of the accident is being investigated.
