Car flipped onto its roof at De Hogt Junction

A car flipped onto its roof, at De Hogt junction, by Eindhoven, late last night. Miraculously, the two passengers hardly incurred any injuries.

The car flipped over at approximately 23:45 hrs, last night. It happened at the turn from the A67 highway to the A2 highway. It is still unclear how it happened exactly. The car initially hit the crash barrier on the right side and then the crash barrier on the left side. Immediately thereafter, it flipped over and landed on its roof.

The ambulance personnel, at the scene, checked both passengers and concluded that since they did not incur any serious injuries, it was unnecessary to take them to hospital. One of them, however, incurred some minor injuries and was treated by the ambulance personnel at the scene.

The road was completely closed to traffic for a certain amount of time. Traffic was diverted via the High Tech Campus exit. As soon as the car was set again on its four wheels and towed away by a Salvage company, the highway was open again to traffic at approximately 01:00 hrs.
