Many people, young and old, came to Frequentie Strijp-S, the area’s first Open Days on Sunday.
Residents, businesses and organizations that are active at the former Philips area opened their doors to the public on Sunday. A few former Philips employees also offered tours and talked about past times.
Forty residents and organizations such as Area51 and Monk Bouldergym participated, as well as the brand-new Blue Collar Hotel, Videolab and Glasgebouw.
Frequentie Strijp-S is to become a yearly event. The name refers to the radio, one of the first products Philips developed and manufactured at Strijp-S.
