Ryanair has issued a statement in response to an article published by Eindhoven News.
This article first appeared in Dutch in Studio040. It reports that pilots employed by Ryanair, and based in Eindhoven, are preparing to go to court. They want to stop the Ryanair base at Eindhoven Airport from being closed. This closure would mean they would be transferred elsewhere. This transfer is what the pilots want to prevent.
In response, Yann Delomez, Ryanair’s Sales and Marketing Manager for France, Benelux, Morocco said in an e-mail to Eindhoven News, “The Eindhoven base will close on 6 November next, and our pilots have been offered jobs elsewhere in the network. If they choose not to transfer, then we will respect their wishes, but there will be no jobs remaining at Eindhoven.”
