VDL Nedcar has created 800 new jobs ahead of production for the BMW X1.

Starting in August, the car will be manufactured in Born, Limburg. Due to increasing global demand, extra hands will be needed to supplement production at the German factory in Regensburg.

A number of new employees, most of whom are from Limburg, will also receive an allowance and training at VDL Nedcar. The number of employees at VDL has now reached 5000.
