Guinea-Bissau man arrested at Eindhoven Airport after smuggling 7 kilos of marijuana

A man from Guinea-Bissau was arrested at Eindhoven Airport on Tuesday after being caught smuggling almost 7 kilograms of marijuana.

The 51-year-old suspect’s luggage was searched during a customs inspection after he arrived on a flight from Spain. Two suspicious packages were opened and found to contain marijuana.

Customs officials handed the man over to military police (Koninklijke Marechaussee), who took him into custody pending a court appearance on Friday.
