Despite yesterday’s thick fog, flights are going ahead as normal at Eindhoven Airport.

Aircraft were grounded on Tuesday evening d of the thick fog. These problems are now over, and air traffic has resumed.

“People are boarding as usual. We are, however, keeping a close eye on the weather forecast”, Judith de Roy of Eindhoven Airport, says. The five flights that were cancelled yesterday will also be resumed today and will not cause any inconvenience. “Those five flights departed today. There were, obviously, a few more people in the terminal”.

De Roy says most passengers understand yesterday’s decision. “People do not like to miss their flights, but most of them understand. We have to be able to continue to guarantee people’s safety. We could not do that with yesterday’s thick fog”.
