TU/e is put on the spot because of ‘discrimination against men’

A stream of discrimination complaints have been received about the TU/e, reports De Telegraaf.

The Eindhoven University previously announced that in the coming year and a half new job openings would be opened exclusively for women. It is only when it turns out that this does not work, that it is men’s turn.

Almost 50 reports have been received by anti-discrimination agency RADAR. Radar then went to the Netherlands Institute for Human Rights. The TU/e must come and explain there in November about the ‘male boycott’. The university wants to attract more women with the new policy.

The decision of the Netherlands Institute for Human Rights is not binding.
