The announced moderation of the number of flight movements at Eindhoven Airport has been initiated, the airport says. The Airport has announced the figures for the first six months of this year.
This shows that the number of flight movements has risen by 7 percent to almost 20,000. The number of passengers also increased, by 9 percent to 3.18 million passengers in the first half of the year.
Growth therefore, but moderate growth, according to director Roel Hellemons: “Eindhoven Airport announced earlier that it would moderate growth in 2019 and 2020 and not use the maximum permitted capacity.”
The total number of flight movements is expected to reach 41,200 this year and a total of 6.7 million passengers will be transported.
