‘Helpful’ teacher fired

Aloysius De Roosten high school, in Eindhoven, dismissed their German teacher. She helped several students during the final exams, reports the ED.

During the final exam, the teacher walked through the class and pointed out their mistakes to several students. In conversation with the ED, one student says,  “In the beginning, everything went like the other exams go, until she suddenly came to help us. She said ‘do this instead of that.'”

Via a tip, management finally found out what happened. The teacher was fired on the spot, and later the exams were also declared invalid.

The 17 MAVO students will take a new German exam in the coming weeks. Instead of on 12 June, they will now be informed on 28 June whether they passed. The graduation ceremony is on 3 July.
