The High Tech Campus has won an award with their documentary, “Curious Tom”, at the World Media Festival in Hamburg.

They made this document in collaboration with their production partner, House of Yellow. The team from Eindhoven received the Silver Television & Corporate Media Award for their film about eleven-year-old Tom. The boy goes on a voyage of discovery to the newest technologies and speaks to different people from the industry. His aim is getting a picture of the world of tomorrow.

“We are so incredibly proud that our film has now also received international recognition,” the makers say. “We hope to put Brainport region of Eindhoven more on the map.”

A total of 789 entries were submitted from 34 countries. An international jury looked at the quality of the editing, sound, images, and the story. Other winners included Audi, Deutsche Welle, and VTM.
