There is another strike in the metal sector. Employees at DAF and ASML laid down their tools yesterday and are doing so again today.

In other parts of the Netherlands, there is also a suspension of work for a better collective labour agreement.

For months there has been regular discontinuation of work in the metal sector. The unions want, among other demands, an annual wage increase of 3.5 per cent and more control over their working hours.

DAF and ASML employees could register to take part in the strike on Thursday morning at the Parktheater.
