The redevelopment of the Vestdijk in Eindhoven entered a new phase today. The Vestdijk is temporarily inaccessible by car from the south.

As mentioned previously on our website, the Vestdijk will be redeveloped in stages. Today, Monday 26th November 2018, phases 1C and 2A of the redevelopment-plans started.

1C and 2A concern the stretch from 18 Septemberplein – Stationsweg to Ten Hagestraat – Kanaalstraat. The Vestdijk will remain accessible for cyclists in both directions.

The knip, at intersection Vestdijk – Ten Hagestraat – Kanaalstraat, will disappear. This will enable traffic from the northern part of the Vestdijk to turn left into Kanaalstraat.

Phases 1C and 2A will last till the end of January 2019.
