Employees from various Brabant companies will go on strike for forty-eight hours on Thursday.

According to trade union FNV Metaal, it concerns about two thousand employees from VDL, DAF, ASML and Ahrend, among others. It is not the first time for a strike: actions have been taking place in the metal sector for months. FNV wants a wage increase of 3.5%. The employees also want to see an end to the flexibilization in the industry, which they believe carried on too far.
