VDL is going to deliver 143 buses to the Rotterdam transport company, RET.
These are energy-efficient buses. More than 100 buses are hybrid, and the rest have a fuel-efficient combustion engine.
Earlier it was clear that the Eindhoven-based company, VDL, would deliver 55 electric buses to RET, including their chargers. From the end of next year, these electric buses will be driving around in Rotterdam, Schiedam, and Vlaardingen. The hybrid and diesel buses will be deployed throughout the whole region of Rotterdam.
