Wednesday, Prime Minister Mark Rutte will visit Eindhoven’s Strijp-S and Strijp-T.
Prime Minister Rutte will be given a tour of all kinds of initiatives. These initiatives relate to Eindhoven’s creative manufacturing industry.
This working visit starts at the Microlab. This offers workspace to entrepreneurs, varying from traditional furniture makers to technological start-ups. They come up with great new solutions and products through meeting and working together.
After visiting Microlab, Prime Minister Rutte and Eindhoven’s Mayor Jorritsma will head for SintLucas. SintLucas is an intermediate vocational school. It trains and prepares students for professions in the creative industry.
From SintLucas, the Prime Minister will takes a look at the large VR centre Enversed. All kinds of applications of virtual reality will be demonstrated here.
From Enversed, the Prime Minister will continue his visit at Strijp-T. Here he will visit design agency VanBerlo in the old power plant. VanBerlo also assists other companies with their innovation projects.
Finally, Rutte will visit Additive Industries. This company develops 3D metal printing systems used for printing metal parts. Such parts are used in aerospace and medical technology.
