ASML is searching for new staff in a special way: with a miniscule advertisement.
‘To truly go small, you have to think big’. The text can only be read with a microscope. And according to the Guinness Book of Records, it is the smallest advertisement ever made: 33.27 by 7.76 micrometer (thousandth of a millimeter). The ad is about a tenth of a human hair in thickness.
ASML created the ad itself in the cleanrooms of the company.
