Eindhoven’s mayor John Jorritsma will travel to Barcelona in November. He will be accompanied by Brainport Development members.
At Barcelona, the mayor will take part in the Smart City Expo World Congress. There, he will promote Eindhoven, the Brainport region.
This congress is the meeting place for “smart cities” from all over the world. Many companies and research centers will visit Barcelona for this conference. The Dutch delegation traveling to the Spanish city will be led by Mr. Jorritsma.
“Our aim is to present the region, as well as the added value of Dutch organizations and companies within the Smart City sector as best as possible”, says Johann Beelen, of Brainport Development.
“Given the international public which attends and visits the exhibition, participation offers many opportunities to network and meet the right people,” says Beelen.
The Smart City Expo World Congress at Barcelona lasts from 12 to 15 November 2018.
