PSV kicks off the new season in the Eredivisie with a home match against FC Utrecht.
The game will be played on Saturday, August 11 at 8.45 p.m.
The first top match of the season is scheduled for Sunday, September 23. PSV will then face a visiting Ajax. On Sunday, December 2, Feyenoord will be on the list for the national champion for the first time: PSV will visit the Kuip (Rotterdam Stadium).
The KNVB has announced the concept program for next season. This also shows that the games will start fifteen minutes earlier on Sunday afternoon. Instead of 12.30 p.m. the kick off will be at 12.15 p.m. That has to do with the use of the video referee. The fact that during the match video footage can be reviewed, ensures that the game as a whole will last longer. By starting a quarter of an hour earlier, the 12.15 p.m. matches can be finished before the start of the 2.30 p.m. matches.
