From now on, visitors to the Stadskantoor (the municipality office) can experience a three-dimensional audio-play.
‘COSAS’ is the name of the play. This is an abbreviation of City of Sounds and Silence. It is an art installation in which people listen blindfolded to their city of the future.
The sounds come from all sides. A voice guides visitors around this city. Sounds are related to new city sounds, music, people and animals. The complete audio-experience takes about as long as a modern pop song.
Sun City, a group of musicians and theatre makers, created this installation. The group creates imaginary, future cities. Sustainable cities, of course, where cars no longer dominate streets.
Everybody visiting the Inwonersplein at the Stadskantoor can also visit the installation. No need to have an appointment: everybody is welcome to listen and experience COSAS.
