The second edition of the Urban Trail race in Eindhoven is almost sold out. There are only 500 start numbers still available for the event, which takes place on Sunday, 10 December.
The Urban Trail is a 10 km course through Eindhoven’s inner city. This year, participants run through, among other places, the Velosoof cycling shop, the Run2Day runners shop, and salsa café, Santiago de Cuba. According to the organisers, it is not about what time you make, or even what place you get; it is about the experience. The runners get to go to places they usually would not.
Participants can start between 9:30 and 10:50. After finishing the race, runners get a free breakfast, and a medal. Start numbers cost EUR 25,00 and can be on the Eindhoven Urban Trail website. A t-shirt has also be designed for this year’s edition, and is also available on the website.
The first Urban Trail, held last year, was also sold out. Then 1 750 runners took part, this year provision has been made for 2 500 participants.
