“i am not a tourist” Expat Fair Eindhoven, organised with the Holland Expat Center South, is a prime opportunity for the international community in the South of the Netherlands to get the low-down on life in the ‘low countries’.
On June 11th the historical VDMA area in Eindhoven’s city centre will see 50 specialist exhibitors and more than 1,500 international professionals come together to exchange information, find opportunities, orientation and business contacts.
There will be engaging and entertaining performances throughout the day and workshops on all sorts of topics for the newly arrived expat: think employment & entrepreneurship, banking, tax and insurance, housing and education. Opportunities for those new to the Netherlands and in particular to the Brainport region will be highlighted, and experts will be on hand to give you one-to-one advice.
International Festival
Next to the Expat Fair, the International Festival Eindhoven (IF) will take place for the second time too. The IF is an international and colourful market with food, drinks, hand-made products like art and jewellery. The market will be combined with live music from international and local artists and, of course, entertainment for children. Inside the Hub Eindhoven for Expats, the audience can enjoy conferences and workshops, and there will be a bar on the outside deck.
Sport & Leisure Experience
Alongside the Expat Fair and the International Festival, there will be the Sport & Leisure Experience organised in partnership with the Holland Expat Center South and EindhovenSport.
Sport
In the Eindhoven region, you can indulge in over 70 different sports. Within a sports club or individually. For all ages and abilities.
During the Sport & Leisure Experience visitors can get an impression of all there is on offer in the area of Sports in the region. A meet and greet with different clubs and sports specialists will help you find your way around.
Sports showcases and the possibility to give it a try will add to the fun.
Leisure
The South of the Netherlands is a great place to enjoy culture and indulge in leisure. Whether you want to go out, enjoy the region’s cultural gems, go shopping or spend your holiday, there is something for everybody.
During this event visitors can experience the social and cultural facilities in the region like museums, festivals, music, theatre, restaurants, amusement parks and animal parks for the kids and much more.
