The Leren en Werken (Learn and Work) information market was held at the Effenaar today. It was aimed at young people who are looking for a career, training or to start their own businesses.
Training institutes, businesses and promising sectors presented them with all sorts of opportunities. For young people, who receive unemployment benefits, who are not sure what they want to do, there is the Buzzinezzclub Eindhoven. This club offers them a six-month programme which will help them get off the dole and guide them towards a career.
There are jobs available in, especially the engineering, care, building, logistics and defence sectors.
