Saturday night in Eindhoven a 24-year-old driver was arrested, because he was transporting people as an illegal taxi.
He had three young men in the car that he didn’t know. Soon it became apparent that the young man was operating an illegal taxi: he did not have a license.
The traffic department handed the driver over to ‘Inspectie Leefomgeving en Transport’ (governmental department for inspection of environment and transport). He is facing a penalty of € 4300.
The three passengers had to look for another mode of transportation.
