Police are looking for people who have seen something of the robbery of a grocery store deliveryman. Last Saturday, the man was run off the road and took money from him.
The robbery took place at the Schouwbroekseweg in Strijp. When the deliveryman wanted to turn his car towards De Bult, a car stopped in front of him at the intersection, so he could not continue. Two men stepped out, and the deliveryman came out of his car as well.
Then the men threatened him with a knife. They took a small amount of money, and the trolley of the company bus. They then took off with their own car.
The deliveryman was able to give a description of the perpetrators. They were two light-colored men. One of them was muscular, with a birthmark on his face and a remarkably long nose. The other was thin and has a short black crew haircut.
Police are asking people whether they know anything about the robbery or recognize the perpetrators, to contact the police.
