Frans Huijbregts from the Huijbregts Groep has won the BOV Trophy. The BOV is a prestigious award for an entrepreneur from the region, with the best concept/ idea. The award ceremony took place at Parktheater, yesterday evening.
Frans Huijbregts, together with the Huijbregts Groep, processes powder ingredients for the food industry. In order to become a candidate for the award, a company should have an annual turnover of eight million euros, own 50% of its stocks and shares and employ at least ten people.
During the ceremony yesterday, the ASML Young Makers Award was also presented. This award is intended for young entrepreneurs, under thirty years of age, who develop their own technical products, which have a positive impact on society. This award went to Rhys Duindam.
