An inspection committee of the Dutch-Flemish accreditation organization (NVAO) will deliver a favorable opinion on the new data science educations by TU/e and Tilburg University at Bachelor and Master levels.
The committee visited Eindhoven and Tilburg over the past few days and is very impressed by the efforts of both universities.
In particular the Bachelor education is commended because of the high conceptual recognition and the committee will unanimously deliver a favorable advice to the NVAO. The Master education still needs a bit of work but the overall impression is also very good, also because of the exceptional location Mariënburg in the city of ‘s-Hertogenbosch. The entrepreneurial competences need some follow up but the Master will also receive a positive response but with some conditions.
