An accident in the Achtse Barrier this morning left one woman injured.
The woman was taken to hospital after being hit by a car while driving a scooter at the junction of Fransebaan and Savoiepad. The cause of the incident, and the extent of the woman’s injuries, are still unclear.
Collisions are a frequent occurrence on the Fransebaan’s crossings, with nearby residents having complained about traffic hazards.
