According to Dutch weather site weeronline.nl, Eindhoven was the coldest place in the Netherlands last night, with a temperature of -4.3°C.
Last year, the first sub-zero temperature was registered on November 21st, 2014.
Traces of frost were last recorded at the Netherlands’ primary weather station in De Bilt, Utrecht, on April 28, 2015. The temperature on that date was +2°C. Based on this outlook, the country’s first official frost day is still forthcoming.
