Fifty accidents this year on A67

Fifty accidents have occurred to date this year on the Brabant section of the A67 motorway.

Monday morning saw three accidents between Eindhoven and Venlo, with another on Tuesday morning. This frequency is now being questioned by city authorities.

According to the Rijkswaterstaat (Department of Public Works), these figures are not worrying when compared to the national average and the impact of accidents should also be taken into account.

A budget of €50million is available, however plans to tackle the issue are still forthcoming as inquiries must be carried out first.
