There is a new Eindhoven cycle route: the ‘Gezonde Zorg’ (Healthy Care) Route of the Wasven in Tongelre.
This route passes several companies and institutions nearby that, like the Wasven, occupy themselves with health and care issues in all possible ways.
The bike route will be presented tomorrow, during the two-day Pure Food Event at and around the old farm. This event allows visitors the chance to see what working the land entails and have a taste of harvesting, binding sheaves and scything.
This edition of Pure Food is dedicated to the Van Gogh year. Potatoes have been planted and ancient types of grain have been grown. Inside, Van Gogh comes to life as well; in the form of a theatre show for children, depicting a day in the life of the artist.
The Pure Food Event takes place this weekend, on Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 to 17:00.
