The police are looking for people who have witnessed the robbery at the Hema, Woenselse Markt branch, the day before yesterday.
At around 11:40 a man walked into the store on Wednesday morning. He threatened the cashier with a knife and stole money from the cash register. The perpetrator then fled with his loot on a lady’s bike. No one was hurt in the robbery.
At the time of the robbery, the man wore a black cap with a white print, blue jeans, a light shirt and a black jacket with white stripes.
