A century of Philips inventions at campus TU

From Friday 100 years of Philips inventions can be seen at the TU/e campus. In the Studium Generale amongst others include a display of the first CDs.

Over the last hundred years, Philips has made a number of revolutionary inventions like the radio tube, the X-ray machine and the CD. These groundbreaking innovations have made the Eindhoven business world famous and have accelerated technological developments of the past century. The TU reflects with an exhibit over those innovations.

With objects and images from the archive of Philips the exhibition is completed. The exhibition lasts until April 2nd.
