The organization wants to give a clear direction to this year’s Dutch Design Week, but leaves space for individual interpretation: ‘UP’ expresses a direction, a movement and a feeling.
The DDW starts on 18 October, but participants, exhibits and other activities were already published this week.
This year’s novelty is that the three Dutch Universities of Technology (Eindhoven, Delft and Twente) will have a common exhibition in the Klokgebouw. The universities will exhibit design of the future and the part that technology plays in that design. At the Philips Museum, Philips is also present at the DDW this time, with an exhibit regarding design in health care.
Most locations remain the same, such as the Design Academy, Sectie C, TAC, MU, the Kazerne and Schellensfabriek.
