There have been reports of match fixing in a PSV match. The accusation refers to a match played in the winter against Lokomotiv Plovdiv. This has been reported by different press agencies.
The Belgian organisation Federbet has identified the game as ‘suspicious’ because there was an excessive amount of money used to place bets at betting agencies. This is mentioned in a report that Federbet presented to the European Parliament in Brussels.
The PSV-Lokomotiv Plovdiv match is not the only one present in the report. In total, there are over a hundred matches labelled as suspicious whereby manipulation is suspected.
