A new and free festival ‘Alegría’ Festival for all ages with live music, top DJ’s, a world market, food and drink and lots of fun activities will take place at the Ketelhuisplein, (Strijp-S) on Sunday 8 June.
‘Alegria’ is a positive emotion that means joy and happiness so the choice of the festival name is very appropriate. Live Latin music, DJs, dance, shows, food and drinks are all elements that are central to the ‘Alegría’ Festival! Dance lovers can enjoy Salsa, Bachata & Kizomba on three separate dance floors.
In addition to live music, you can also enjoy all kinds of activities: dance workshops, from hip hop to salsa, live acts and especially for the kids, a kids area with a variety of games and activities.
Gourmet food lovers can savour and enjoy delicious international food such as BBQ food, Asian food and Caribbean food at the many food stalls and you can buy the products on offer at the world market.The ‘Alegría’ Festival a day of ‘ Alegria ‘ for young and old!
